Why are fans angry with ‘Iron Man’s return in ‘Avengers’?
Fans are happy and angry with the return of ‘Iron Man’ i.e. Robert Downey Jr. in the new MCU film. When Iron Man died in Avengers: Endgame, fans demanded the return of this character. Now when his comeback has been announced, why are fans angry? Actually, Robert is returning to this universe not as Iron Man but as Doctor Doom. Robert will now be seen in the role of a dreaded villain named ‘Doctor Doom’.

Robert has also shared this information by sharing a picture and video on social media. He has written, ‘New Musk, same tusk’. A user has expressed displeasure on his post and wrote, ‘Okay Downey. In his villain era’. One wrote, ‘I wish I had kept it a secret. But yes I have mixed feelings and emotions’.
One user wrote, ‘I am very angry and shocked right now. How can they turn my superhero into a super villain. This is absolutely not right. I need time to accept this’. Another user commented, ‘I want Iron Man back’.
Robert had also expressed his desire to return to the MCU
Robert Downey Jr. himself wanted to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He talked about this issue in an interview with Esquire Magazine after winning an Oscar for ‘Oppenheimer’. He was asked if he would return to the Marvel Universe again. He said, of course. But he also said that whatever Kevin Feige (MCU President) wants will happen.
